Waterpark Consent and Waiver

Trip Details:
Campers will spend the day at AQUA PARDS Waterpark, participating in outdoor activities and supervised recreational time. While attendance is required for all campers onsite, **participation in water-based activities is optional**.
Lunch options include:

Important Parent Information:
- Swimwear & Accessories: Camp AST4Y does not provide swimwear or accessories. It is the parent/guardian’s responsibility to ensure campers have proper-fitting, appropriate swimwear, plus any desired items like goggles, swim caps, flip-flops, towels, or sunscreen.
- Safety Gear: While water depths are shallow throughout the park, life jackets are available for rental at $5 from AQUA PARDS.
-Chaperone and Swimmer Experience Level Inclusion: All swimmer experience levels are welcomed including their parent/guardian chaperones. Chaperones must pay their own entrance fee of $8.00/person. This trip is inclusive of all campers, whether they choose to engage in water activities or observe from dry areas. ---
-Lifeguard: Life Please note that this area is an enclosed space with lifeguards on duty at all times and camp staff are also prepared to respond and act to maintain a safe environment for your camper.
⚖ Waiver of Liability:
I, the undersigned parent or legal guardian, acknowledge and understand that participation in outdoor and recreational activities, including visits to waterparks, involves inherent risks such as slips, falls, minor injuries, and exposure to outdoor elements.
By signing below, I hereby:
- Give permission for my child to attend the AQUA PARDS field trip with Camp AST4Y.
- Agree not to hold Camp AST4Y, its staff, partners, or volunteers liable for any injury, accident, or loss resulting from this trip, including water-based and non-water activities.
-If attending as a chaperone, I fully agree not to engage in any activity that could be harmful or dangerous to myself, my child, or any other camper or any member of the public and to abide by the water park rules.
- Accept full responsibility for ensuring that my child is properly equipped for the day, including swimwear and optional accessories.
- Understand and accept the availability of life jackets for rental despite the shallow nature of the waterpark facilities.

About Camp AST4Y

Camp AST4Y, Afterschool Tutoring 4 You’s signature summer day camp, has been a trusted, locally-owned and operated, camp in Baton Rouge since 2016. Camp AST4Y is open to students in grades K–8 with limited seating to ensure a safe, supportive, and personalized experience.
Rooted in summer learning and enrichment, Camp AST4Y blends structured academics with traditional camp fun. Students stay engaged through guided reading, enrichment lessons to reinforce essential skills—helping to prevent summer learning loss. Campers enjoy arts and crafts, games, museum visits, field trips, swimming, outdoor activities, socialization, and explore local libraries.
The camp is led by Director Ms. Diana Ruben and is supported by a team of dedicated tutor‑counselors and junior counselors who are trained to supervise children, guide academic activities, and react appropriately in emergencies. Staff complete CPR and emergency response training and adhere to clear policies designed to ensure positive, enriching experiences for every camper.

When does CAMP AST4Y take place?
Camp AST4Y is open for Grades K-8 and runs in two sessions from Monday, May 25th to Friday, June 19th and Monday, July 6th to Friday July 31st. Regular sessions are from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with early drop-off available from 7:00 AM to 8:00 AM and aftercare 3pm-5pm.
What are the registration and weekly costs?
The weekly cost is $100 per student with discounts available for 2 or more students. There is a one-time registration fee of $25 per child.

The weekly cost includes 1 hour of daily math or literacy tutoring (including writing and reading comprehension). Students also enjoy weekly library visits on Wednesdays, weekly field trips, arts & crafts, games, movies, and more!
Is aftercare available?
Yes, aftercare is available from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM for $25/week per family, providing a safe and engaging environment for your children until you're able to pick them up.
